Brenda Muller Ellis is a writer of fiction and non-fiction and a self-taught expert on Soviet times and Russian literature. She has published numerous non-fiction and short story pieces, and her debut novel, Roza's War, was released in the summer of 2024.
For the first ten years of her professional career, Brenda experienced success as a high-tech software consultant for Fortune 50 companies. Upon realizing that Corporate America wasn’t a good long-term fit for her, Brenda used her understanding of Jungian Psychology to create PersonalityPage.com, a website dedicated to helping people better understand and tolerate each other. The site has reached over 400,000,000 people.
In recent years, Brenda has focused her work efforts toward creating stories set in the Soviet era, where life was fleeting and and intense. Roza's War recreates the combat journal kept by Soviet sniper Roza Shanina during her tour of duty on the Eastern Front of WW2. Brenda is writing her second manuscript (working title The Ghost of Moscow), a political thriller that takes us on a journey with Roza's brother, Sergei Shanin.
